Hot-Out-of-the-Oven Apple Pie

gaslamp popcorn

Popcorn Recipe Ingredients:

6 cups Gaslamp Sea Salt and Olive Oil Popcorn
    1 tsp apple pie spice
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
1 cup dried apples, roughly chopped
    1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 cup shortbread cookies, roughly chopped

Popcorn Recipe Directions:

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small microwavable bowl, melt the butter for 30 seconds - one minute in the microwave. Combine the brown sugar and apple pie spice in separate bowl, and sprinkle half of the mixture into the melted butter. Stir the butter mixture until the brown sugar is completely dissolved and smooth.

In a large mixing bowl, add the popcorn, pecans, shortbread cookies, and dried apples. Pour the melted butter mixture over the popcorn until completely coated. Spread the popcorn mixture into one even layer onto a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle the rest of the brown sugar and apple pie spice onto the popcorn, and bake for 10-15 minutes.

This popcorn recipe is almost as good as Grandma's apple pie ... almost.

Popping with pride I have to write and compliment you on your Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn. We have to say it is the BEST and I mean the BEST we have ever had. Who is, "we" do you ask? My Mom and Dad and of course, me. My Mom purchased it at Vons in Oxnard, California. We sat and ate just about the entire bag at one sitting. It wasn't hard at all due to the deliciousness of the popcorn. Keep up the great work, as I am sure everyone who bites into the Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn, smiles the sweetest smile.
